James King
James King is author of the novel, Bill Warrington's Last Chance (Viking/Penguin), which won the 2009 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award.
Jim is also the founder and president of Brown House Communications, LLC. Since 1987, he has worked with organizations of all sizes in helping them achieve bottom-line results through more effective communication skills. Specialties include writing, editing, instructional design, audio and video scripts, and course facilitation. Jim has also had travel articles published in a number of magazines and newspapers, including the New York Daily News, Chicago Tribune, and San Francisco Sunday Chronicle and Examiner.
Jim holds an M.A. in Writing from Manhattanville College and a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
